MDF

MDF is a product obtained by pressing the plate paste formed under heat and pressure after the fibers obtained from wood or other lignocelluosic raw materials thermomechanically are dried to a certain degree of humidity with the addition of synthetic adhesive.

The uniform distribution and density of the fibers at every point of the MDF allows both sides of the board as well as its edges to be machined without any breakage or gaps between the material particles. In this way, MDF can be successfully used in the production of parts such as table tops, door panels, drawer fronts with beveled edges or profile surfaces.

Production Process

The thicknesses of our production facility (10 -12-16-18-22-25-30 mm) and our dimensions are minimum 1.83 m and maximum width 2.10 m. The minimum length is 2.44 m, and the maximum length is 4.2 m.

The woods (hard wood-beech-hornbee-ash ash) purchased from forest enterprises and producers are stored in the softwood (pine-poplar) raw material field. By means of cranes, wood is given to the chipping machine and chip is obtained. It is filled into the chip silos by means of the conveyor belt. We get the ideal chip for production by sieving 70% hard chips and 30% soft chips with a conveyor belt at the rate we want. Ideally, the chips are sent to the Fibering unit and the chips are softened at a certain steam pressure, and the chips are fibered by means of blades. The fibers coming out of the mill are glued homogeneously. The glued fibers are sent to drying by means of steam and dried at a certain temperature (170-180 C') and sent to the laying bunker. In the bunker, it takes the shape of a cake by being laid on the belt moving with the carrier rakes. With the pre-pressing process, the air in the cake is removed. It is sent to the Hot Press thanks to the synchronously moving band. At a certain temperature, pressure and speed, the cake takes the shape of the plate we want. At the exit of the press, the plate is sized and rested for 2 days after the process is finished. The rested sheet is sent to the sanding machine to achieve the desired thickness and surface smoothness.
